Introduction

The purpose of this blog was to allow me to communicate to the electors of St Paul’s ward in Clacton, who elected me as a UKIP councillor for Tendring District Council in 2015. I served for 18 months before I emigrated to New Zealand. This blog now serves as a place for longer-form commentary than is appropriate for social media.

A brief bio on me is as follows. I was born in Kumasi, Ghana in 1961 and came to the UK before my second birthday. I have travelled a great deal with work, including two years living in Saudi Arabia. I lived in the North East of England for 18 years, before coming to live in Clacton for 10 years. I now live in Motueka, at the top of the South Island of New Zealand. I am retired and my main interests, beyond the usual family and friends, are; ornamental garden plants, staying reasonably fit, playing bridge, learning the viola and enjoying the back-country of New Zealand.
